  1. Great work guys, have u ever considered doin it for other games like bfbc2 or CoD?

  2. Can you build a fallout 3/New Vegas mod? I really want to play it but, well, I’m 13 and I’m christian and have christian parents.
So my choices are either find a filter mod like you make or wait till I’m 18. Vveeeerrrrryy narrow choices.

    • I play this game as well and can confirm the cursing. I am planning to look into modding it over the Summer break if I can get enough people to demand it.

      • I found a Fallout 3 mod on the nexus, but I don’t know how good or bad it is. It’s only one guy who built and is working to update the mod, go to the nexus and enter “anti- curse/language” if you want to see the mod.

  3. Great work guys! Just tried out the Crysis 2 mod and, though I’m not sure if they were supposed to be swearing throughout the level, I never heard it. =P Do you know if your Crysis mod will work with Steam/Origin versions?

    +1 for a Battlefield 3 mod next.

    Thanks again!

  4. Many thanks to you guys for your awesome work.

I don’t know if you remember, but I contacted you a few years ago about my Left 4 Dead: Serenity project on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/l4d-serenity/), which provides profanity filtering in Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. I’d be delighted to either gift the project to you, or at least be linked from here.

Please let me know if I can contribute to your site in any other way.

  5. considered doing Mass Effect? Dragon Age? Singularity? Metro 2033? Fable?

  6. Please do Battlefield 3, I just got it for Christmas and every other second in multiplayer the US team cusses like crazy and you can’t turn off voiceovers >.<

  7. Hey guys! For BF3, you can do what I did and install another language ( I installed the German language files, since I don’t know a lick of German :) Its a little tricky to do, but now I play BF3 with no cussing (that I can understand anyway) and it really has no bearing on the game. I used to play bfbc2 with the voice dialog off, but that did adversely affect the game (for example: not hearing chatter from a nearby enemy soldier). But it is much better to play with a different language, as you can still hear voice chatter around you, keeping you on an even playing field. And for cues like “Move up!” or which capture points are taken, the visual clues are plenty.

A filter would be very nice! But in the meantime, you can try this work around to keep the offensive language out.

  8. Hey glad to see your back… more or less since it is 2012 now. I found your mods years ago and was so excited. I have been a beta tester for some time, for my son in law… and have a basic understanding of programing. Just thought I’d offer free help if there is anything that can be done from my computer easily. I’m retired and would love to help you build a library of fixes. I rebuilt a computer and reloaded ever game I have but when I used the Crysis patch it glitched this time. Maybe the newer version will be ok. I believe the problem is that I loaded a different version of Crysis this time. Thanks for the Crysis 2 patch I didn’t have it. dave
