Hi everyone!
I would like to direct everyone to a recent comment by David Faria explaining an alternate way to censor Battlefield 3 language.
“Hey guys! For BF3, you can do what I did and install another language ( I installed the German language files, since I don’t know a lick of German
Its a little tricky to do, but now I play BF3 with no cussing (that I can understand anyway) and it really has no bearing on the game. I used to play bfbc2 with the voice dialog off, but that did adversely affect the game (for example: not hearing chatter from a nearby enemy soldier). But it is much better to play with a different language, as you can still hear voice chatter around you, keeping you on an even playing field. And for cues like “Move up!” or which capture points are taken, the visual clues are plenty.
A filter would be very nice! But in the meantime, you can try this work around to keep the offensive language out.”
